While as a child I may have been dreaming of a future as a veterinarian or astronomer, it was working as a translator that I kept coming back to. I have been doing this kind of work for over 25 years now – only occasionally during the first 10 years, but for more than 15 years now as a freelance translator.
Ever since my last year of studying at the University of Zurich, majoring in English Linguistics and Literature, I have also been working part-time as an attorney's assistant, which is why I decided to specialise in legal translations. Occasional assignments from other fields still allow me to gain exciting insights into new areas that I would otherwise not be studying in detail, which is an interesting aspect of working as a translator.
Being in constant contact with many lawyers working in various areas of law has led to a wide range of translation work for me. Thanks to my many years of experience, I am able to produce high-quality translations. My clients appreciate the diligent and professional service I provide and know that they can always rely on their translations to be delivered on time.
